Spinner Ring

It's a fun piece of jewelry with moving inner rings. Learn how to craft a spinner ring from start to finish and embellish with copper wire, gold, or oxidation. Stamp messages, symbols or textures to create a completely custom ring. Student will have the option of adding a colored stone.

Dive Into Studio 2

In this 4 week course you will complete three (or more) projects designed to graduate you to the next level in Studio 2. Rolling mill, hydraulic press, sandblaster, pen plater, hammers and stakes will all be explored. There will also be an examination into useful pliers for different tasks as well as good finishing practices.

Improve your soldering skills exponentially with this deep dive into making solder connections. This class will cover 4 different types of soldering:

  • Pick soldering
  • Sweat, or sandwich, soldering
  • Pre-soldering
  • Stick, or wire, soldering

Solder hardness and best soldering practices will also be covered in the making of a chain and charms for a bracelet.

Silver Sunday II: Using A Stone

In this one-day workshop you will learn the classic silversmithing technique of constructing a bezel for a cabochon stone. You will then incorporate your bezel into a design option and set the stone. Material fee based on individual’s choice of stone and project.
