Express yourself with the art of stamped metal! Stamping master Alan Darby shows you the basics of how to successfully execute a stamped image, message, or symbol. You’ll make a pendant or key fob while learning how to create a composition or message using a variety of shaped stamping tools. Contemporary stamps as well as traditional Native American stamps will be explored. No experience necessary. 

An exploration into working with epoxy resin to add interesting elements, dimension, and even color to your jewelry design.

Resin can be mixed with a color to simulate enamel or it can be poured over an image, decorative paper or book pages. Simulate gemstones by capturing items like crushed glass, rust or sand. Dried flowers, found objects or other materials of your choice can be suspended in resin as well. Using molds will also be explored. No experience necessary.
