Artist Statement
Through the centuries people have found inspiration in numerous ways. Mythological gods, magical beings, nature and even food. This collection examines what we have deemed MUSE.
I am motivated by a conversation that is sparked between the work and the viewer and its potential for the exchange of ideas without words. I want my pieces to have special meaning to the wearer.
Combining abstract symbolism with adornment to create voice has always been at the heart of my work.
