My family is somewhat rare given most generational gaps. We can boast 5 generations of living women that are truly forces of nature. Let me introduce these fantastic five from youngest to oldest... Emma, Gwendolyn, Kimberly, Marta (my sister), and matriarch mom, Mary Jane.
The big joke this year was everyone wanted mom to stay alive just long enough to be able to take this picture!
The passage of time witnesses change when you are talking 5 generations. And the roles these women have held through their lives definitely qualify for the WOW factor. Without naming names... cancer survivor, midwife, business owner, horsewoman, jewelry designer, exotic dancer, stay at home mom, Rosie riveter, dental professional, tutor, maid, waitress, waitress, waitress, waitress, and relative to a former senator. Several marriages (and divorces). Mothers, sisters, aunts and wives and one very cute newly hatched force of nature. Each life a well of experiences, joys and sorrows, and each a chapter in history.
I think it is appropriate that they are all sitting on a railroad track don't you?
My Generations Chain represents the feminine passing on the seeds of wisdom to her progeny.
Generations is convertible. The pendant can be removed and the chain worn by itself.
