Continue your creative journey and expand your horizons with each new skill and technique. Lots of new things to try. Pick one workshop or fill your passport and try them all!

Each workshop will demo a technique and/or project and the student will leave with either a finished project or practiced a technique to flesh out in Open Studio.

Complete at least 13 passport workshops and be rewarded with the “i play with fire” and passport 13 stamped, apron!

Come into the studio for your Silver Passport and keep a log of all that you have accomplished in your artistic journey!

Experience necessary. You must be comfortable with the basics of smithing to take these workshops. Annealing, soldering, sawing, drilling, polishing, etc. Ideally you have also spent time in Open Studio at SilverWorks.


Findings are all those little “fiddly bits” that finish a good design. Hooks, toggles, ear wires and pin backs can all be created from scratch to make your original designs truly original.

Expand your design horizons without solder. Cold Connections allow the silversmith to join two materials without using heat. One type of cold connect is the rivet.
